Religious Education
As a school we follow the guidance from the North Yorkshire Agreed Syllabus. Click here to access the North Yorkshire Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education. The Syllabus contains information for how parents/carers have a right to withdraw their child from all or part of the Religious Education offer. Should a parent/carer wish to do this, they should first contact the school via email.

We have annual celebrations for festivals throughout the year such as:
RE is taught throughout the learning journeys that are planned for and delivered between the year group phases.
Where appropriate, the whole school joins together to learn about RE in the wider world, particularly the celebrations carried out by different groups (Christmas, Remembrance Day, Harvest Festival, etc).
We also have termly assemblies delivered by the local Methodist church group.
